When the holiday season rolls around, many of us cherish the time we get to spend with our family and friends. It is so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of the season with busy travel schedules and chaotic last-minute shopping trips, the holidays can be more stressful than they need to be. Instead of getting overwhelmed with what gifts to buy, spend some time thinking about how you can give back to those who may not have the same luxuries you have.

The holidays are a big season for people who want to give back, especially when it comes to ministering to individuals experiencing homelessness. This is the perfect season to serve alongside your family. After all, giving back is a great way to spread the Good News of the Gospel…

Haley is a wife, husky puppy mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She loves Jesus and has a passion to encourage other women to find and embrace their identities in Christ. Her blog, My One Comfort, highlights that God’s Word can give us comfort and peace. She reminds us that the best comfort we can find in Scripture is that Christ died for our sins on the cross. We can have hope that there is something far better waiting for us – a life that is made up of peace, joy, praise, and strength.
Giving and giving back during the holidays and all year is so important.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s very easy to get caught up with all the glitz and glam of the holidays but it also very important to help others that have less than. We like to volunteer at homeless shelters to help serve food and also donate. I hope your week is going well so far and happy Tuesday!
