For the longest, I tried to change to fit the mold of what I thought society expected me to look like and act like. Turns out, I pleased no one so I decided to be myself instead and it opened the door for a seat in rooms like this beautiful brunch at the @colorofchange where I got to meet the “Pythagorean girls” and celebrate so many uniquely beautiful humans in such a beautiful way.

For anyone trying to “fix” the parts of themselves because someone has told you do not check the right box, the box will smother all the parts of you people need to see the most. Your voice, who you are, what you have to contribute…the parts of yourself you try to hide because you think people will not love them…they are the very things worth celebrating.
