“One Good Thing” End of the Year Activity

“Some heroes don’t wear capes. They wear tutus.” I hold the words dear to my heart because they were words spoken along with so many other kind words from the 2023 State Teachers of the Year. As our 2023 National Teacher of the Year Rebecka Peterson ushers in the 2024 National Teacher of the Year, we hold dear to her one good thing … and the one good thing she gave us as a gift that can be paid forward. This week’s Tutu Tuesday – a lesson on how to show learners their “one good thing.” #tututuesday #blessed #thelife

How would you use this activity in your classroom or with your children? I have had students write something they love about other students on sticky notes as a twist to this.
