Her story gives God glory. As a senior in high school, Alexandra Johnson set a personal record by about 10 seconds to dip under 2:20 – and run 2:18 in the 800 at the state track meet. When she thought her legs could not rebound for the next race, the 400 meters, less than 30 minutes later, she powered the last 100 for another personal record and podium finish. She was not sure God would do it again for her as she continued her journey to division 1 University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Last year, she and her three teammates broke the school record in the 4×400 meter relay, proving that with God, her best is enough đź’•
