The Red Sofa

Look guys I’m on tv (talking fast as usual) – News with a Twist

Go Red is a campaign from the American Heart Association. It seeks to bring awareness to women specifically about the risks of heart disease and create healthier lifestyles.

Why is this Red Sofa showing up all over New Orleans?

    1. You must visit City Park. I was actually at Morning Call eating beignets when the news approached my children and I. Of course, you must go to the French Quarter (Canal, Decatur, St. Charles, etc.). They actually have a french market that is open on weekends up from Cafe du Monde (a MUST GO TO place for beignets – cash only). Food places I love are Deanie’s and Oceana Grill. You may enjoy riding the street car to see all of the old historic New Orleans. Oh yes, since you are staying in the Treme area, you may check out Louis Armstrong Park. They have a Jazz in the Park on Thursdays from time to time (no idea if it will be running in October). Let me know if you need additional suggestions!
